Supermarkets, cafes, and other shopping opportunities are located right in the beautiful harbor. In the back, over the years grown part of Porto Petro has formed a wonderfully quiet residential area of high standard (Colonia del Silencio). In the beautiful natural harbor, which has preserved its original charm until today, are mainly smaller boats to find. Near the harbor there are two beautiful sandy beaches, easily accessible. The very popular village of Santanyi can be reached in about 15 minutes by car.
