This unique Finca hotel is located in a wonderful 15th century building on a 400,000 sqm plot of land in an elevated position in Petra. The Fincahotel is surrounded by nature with a view of the beautiful surrounding countryside. It offers space for 26 people in 10 rooms / apartments of different sizes. Distributed on 3 floors are beside the guest rooms also common rooms, kitchens and terraces. There is a pool with a very large terrace where events can be held. Also there is a vaulted cellar with bar, a covered terrace for events and outdoor sanitary facilities. Some rooms have oil heating, other electric heaters or fireplaces, some rooms have air conditioning. Many furniture is already available, others can be taken over by the current operator if required. On 1 December 2019 a new operator will be sought, the annual rent of € 54,000 must be paid in advance. Further equipment features: Internet, additional costs approx. € 700 / month, alarm system, several access roads, licenses available.
Petra: Location and surroundings of this property
Petra is a rural town located in the centre of Mallorca with around 2.700 inhabitants. Its peak known as Puig de Bonany, boasts a view over a large part of the island, stretching up to the Bay of Alcudia. Petra has a variety of supermarkets, restaurants and cafeterias, as well as a pharmacy and a sports centre. The weekly market takes place on Wednesdays. Most of its houses have stone façade and their entrances usually feature a stone archway.
This small town is home to the museum of the well-known Fray Junípero Serra. His first studies took place at the Convent, and you can also visit his birthplace. Wine lovers can enjoy a wine-tasting at Bodegas Miguel Oliver winery.
Petra is located 40 minutes away from Palma, 50 from the airport, and the nearby beaches can be reached within a 20 minute drive.
