The house, built in 1972, was then renovated respecting the rustic character and the typical style of the place given to it by the designer, the famous Catalan architect Pelayo Martínez Paricio.
The main floor offers a large and bright living room with vaulted ceilings, open to a spectacular partially covered terrace with swimming pool, and enjoys a fantastic view of the sea and the surrounding pine forest. The kitchen, very bright, also enjoys the same view. Next to it there is a small room with shower, currently used as a wardrobe and laundry. From the entrance, a corridor leads to the sleeping area, which includes four rooms, including three double bedrooms with bathroom and one single bedroom, as well as another bathroom with bathtub. On the lower floor of the villa there are two large rooms, one of which is used as a guest bedroom with bathroom, the other very large that can be used as a living room with sea view or games room. On the same floor, outside, a further bath with shower is particularly useful going up from the beach. On the same floor, next to the technical room of the swimming pool, there is also a very large storage room (25 square meters).
The house can comfortably accommodate about ten people.
The large private green area surrounding the house (about 5250 square meters) is maintained in its natural state of pine forest. A small highlight for nature lovers is the stone and wood pergola in the pine forest, where you can isolate yourself, where it is possible to isolate oneself, in a cool and quiet environment.
The entrance offers enough space to park several cars.
The house is connected to the electricity network and telephone line (with ADSL), while the running water is drawn from a private well fishing in a rich underground aquifer. The pool is fed with rainwater, stored in a large tank. The rooms in the sleeping area are equipped with electric heating, while the heating of the living room is provided by the large wood-burning fireplace in the living room. The same chimney also serves the barbecue fireplace located on the terrace.
This property is located on Costa Brava (in Catalunya, Spain), in a particularly happy location, in the wonderful cove of Cala Calitjas, within the Natural Park of Cap de Creus.
It is a magical place, which has thrilled both nature lovers and artists. It is about 7 kilometers north of the coastal town of Roses and 10 minutes walk from Cala Montjoi (where the famous restaurant "el Bulli" is located, now "Fundació el Bulli", run by Ferran Adria, the first chef in the world for several years), while to the north, by boat, you can reach in 15 minutes Cadaqués, a place loved by Salvator Dali and other artists.
The condition of ‘natural reserve’ of the park guarantees its care and conservation (with prohibition of further settlements).
The property overlooks the sea, with private access to the beach set in the rocky cliff, and is surrounded by a thick pine forest.
The isolation of the villa ensures tranquility and absolute privacy.
