Mijas, situated at an altitude of 428 metres, is a white and lively village that imprints all the colours of the mountains and enjoys a wonderful setting in an environment of hillsides and rivers with panoramic views over the Mediterranean and an average temperature of 18º C. Mijas Pueblo is the heart of a huge municipality that borders a number of villages on the Costa del Sol and inland. The part dominated by Campo de Mijas is a residential area that lies between Mijas Pueblo and the neighbouring municipality of Fuengirola and consists of the urbanisations La Sierrezuela, Mijas Jardin, Olimar and Montebello. The area is exclusively residential, mostly with detached houses and small apartment buildings. It is an idyllic and quiet residential area where life goes by at will between the sea and the mountains. However, it could not be better communicated: 20 minutes away from Marbella, 5 minutes from Fuengirola or Mijas Pueblo and only 35 minutes from the international airport of Malaga.
