Cala Blava, also known under the name of Cala Mosca and Cala Mosques, is 10 kilometers away from the airport and 18 km from the island's capital Palma. This small sandy beach is surrounded by rocks of little height, although the cliffs nearby rise up to 25 meters, and provide and excellent panoramic view over the bay of Palma. The lower rocks in the surroundings are an excellent alternative along this long sandy area where we can also see a torrent and a lot of small beached boats. If you follow the coast on foot from Cala Mosques going south you will reach other small coves with sandy ground, stones and pebbles.
