These lands are crossed from north to south by the Alberche River, which enters from behind the Picadas reservoir to follow the southeast direction. This river undergoes a sudden change of direction towards the southwest in the proximities of the urban area of Aldea del Fresno where it receives the river Perales, being lost to the south in the limit with Villa del Prado and Santa Cruz del Retamar.

The orography has low-lying hills covered with leafy vegetation to the north, with scrubland and holm oaks that extend throughout the rest of the municipality. These municipalities are among the lowest in the Community of Madrid with an average altitude of 476 metres.
Throughout the municipality there are many holm oaks, typical of the Presierra de Guadarrama, junipers, gall oaks and bushes such as rockrose, broom, cantueso, aulaga, thyme, alders, ashes, willows and poplars, poplars...
