Campo de Gibraltar Beaches Receive 5 New Blue Flags

Five beaches and ports in the Campo de Gibraltar have achieved the Blue Flag this year. The beaches of Getares in Algeciras and Torrecarbonera (Alcaidesa-Faro) and Cala Sardina in San Roque have kept the distinctive, which Torreguadiaro has lost. In the case of ports, Alcaidesa Marina and Sotogrande retain their flag. The nature classroom in Pinar del Rey, which is considered a blue center, also achieves recognition.

The Cádiz coastline has obtained 35 blue flags, two less than last year, when the highest number in the province was reached since 1993. Thirty distinctions correspond to beaches and five to marinas.
