Five beaches and ports in the Campo de Gibraltar have achieved the Blue Flag this year. The beaches of Getares in Algeciras and Torrecarbonera (Alcaidesa-Faro) and Cala Sardina in San Roque have kept the distinctive, which Torreguadiaro has lost. In the case of ports, Alcaidesa Marina and Sotogrande retain their flag. The nature classroom in Pinar del Rey, which is considered a blue center, also achieves recognition.
The Cádiz coastline has obtained 35 blue flags, two less than last year, when the highest number in the province was reached since 1993. Thirty distinctions correspond to beaches and five to marinas.
By municipalities, in addition to the beaches of Campo de Gibraltar, it is held by Zahara de los Atunes (Barbate); La Cortadura-Poniente, La Victoria, La Caleta and Santa María del Mar, in Cádiz; La Barrosa and Sancti Petri (Chiclana de la Frontera); Camarón-La Laguna, Regla, Cruz del Mar-Canteras, Micaela and Tres Piedras-La Ballena, from Chipiona; Los Bateles, Roche and la Fontanilla (Conil de la Frontera); Fuentebravía, La Puntilla, Vistahermosa-Las Redes and Valdelagrana, in El Puerto de Santa María; Galleons, Rompillido-Chorrillo, Puntalillo, La Costilla, Punta Candor, La Ballena, from Rota; Camposoto (San Fernando)); and El Palmar (Vejer de la Frontera).
Regarding marinas, Cádiz will have blue flags in Chipiona, Sancti Petri (Chiclana de la Frontera) and Rota.
Andalusia has achieved its historical record in blue flags by adding 137, 18 more than last year between beaches, ports and boats. The community has obtained 115 blue flags on beaches, 20 in marinas and two in sustainable boats, and with this it has reached its best figure since this mention was granted.
Andalusia is the second autonomous community with the most distinctions in this category, only surpassed by Valencia. By provinces, Almería has obtained 33 distinctions (31 beaches and two ports), Cádiz 35 (30 beaches and five ports), Málaga 41 (34 beaches, five ports and two sustainable boats), Huelva 16 (nine beaches and seven ports) and Granada 12 (11 beaches and a port).
