Jardín del Turia: The green axis of the city

Although not the most historic garden city , it can be considered a true symbol of Valencia. The Jardín del Turia is a fantastic green park consisting of over 9 kilometres embracing the city from east to west and covering the old Turia River , deflecting the problems in the past centuries that were caused by its continuous flooding. In its route abound, the historic bridges such as the Puente del Real, as well as playgrounds, sporting arenas and landscaped floral compositions can be seen. The Jardín del Turia connects at its west end with Parque de la Cabecera, another green space of great interest because it reflects the original landscape of Turia. Given the extent of this axis, in its surroundings, the prestigious residential areas such as Pla del Real, the home of Ciutat Vella and the new area of Ciudad de las Artes and las Ciencias at its east end are located.

Parque de la Alameda and Blasco Ibáñez: the other jewels of Pla del Real

Whoever loves urban parks will see Pla del Real as an ideal area to buy or rent a property. And not just because it is near Jardín del Turia and Jardín del Real, as we mentioned before, but because in this area Alameda and Avenida Blasco Ibáñez are both full of trees and pedestrian spaces where large urban manor houses are located. And if these were not enough, the Jardines de Monforte, the more flirtatious and minimalist park is the icing on the cake in this neighbourhood where the Mestalla stadium is also located.

Jardín Botánico: a space for dissemination and delight

The Jardín Botánico (Botanical garden) is a smaller and clearly oriented enclosure with a variety of plant species. On your next visit, which is allowed by a payment entry gate, lets you get to know trees from five continents. This small green gem is located west of Ciutat Vella and is namely an urban residential area that appeals to many Valencians.

Jardín de la Glorieta and Parterre, a luxury garden in the heart of Ciutat Vella

The green space formed by Jardín de la Glorieta and Parterre is a favourite of many Valencians, precisely because it is located in Ciutat Vella, just a few metres from the Catedral or Plaza del Ayuntamiento. It is also within walking distance of some of the most emblematic streets of the city such as Colón, where our residential real estate specialists have many proposals for you.

Other green areas on major roads and promenades

These are not the only green areas that can be enjoyed in the Valencian town. Along the breadth of the town there are numerous village corners with extensive woodland and garden centres. For example, Jardín de Ayora or Jardín Polifilo can be found in the most northern part of the city. In addition, both the Paseo Marítimo and Paseo Neptuno are the two areas characterised by careful landscape design. There are also beautiful nature walking tours offered on a regular basis. And from a residential point of view, they enjoy great potential.
