On 20 September, Engel & Völkers Yachting in partnership with Engel & Völkers France held an exclusive VIP event in the French Riviera. As a brand, Engel & Völkers is one of the leading powerhouses in the luxury sector with a strong presence not only in premium real estate sector, but private aviation and luxury yachting.
“Engel & Völkers Yachting extends from the global network that has established itself as a leader in the luxury sector for more than 40 years. Today, we see top yachting brokerages trying to establish collaborations with other premium real estate agencies, however, the difference with Engel & Völkers Yachting is that we work with family. We have direct access to our other department’s network, which is something the other brokerages will never have access to.” - Anissa Mediouni, CEO Engel & Völkers Yachting.
The exclusive private event held on 20 September was dedicated to clients and partners on the terrace of a prestigious villa in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat with an extraordinary sea view. Directly in front of the villa in the Bay of Villefranche, the stunning 51-meter Aresteas superyacht was at anchor for guests to admire throughout the evening.
The event’s main aim was to convey the qualities shared by Engel & Völkers and its partners – competence, exclusivity and passion – by way of a distinctive, extraordinary experience. Over 100 highly select guests were invited for this unique evening which highlighted the brand’s four luxury lifestyle flagships – high-end premium property, interior design, yachting and collector cars.
Several media representatives were present to comment the event, such as Mario De Castro (journalist), Corentin Gruson, an e-influencer specialized in design and lifestyle, and other celebrities such as the famous photographer, Guillaume Plisson.
Hosted by Anissa Mediouni, CEO of Engel & Völkers Yachting French Riviera and David Scheffler, President of Engel & Völkers France, guests mingled with VIP partners such as The International Bank of Luxembourg (BIL), Daniela Boutsen, founder and CEO of Boutsen Design and her husband Thierry Boutsen, chairman of Boutsen Aviation.
There was also exclusive entertainment on offer, such as tours of the villa and the garden, as well as a fine art and designer furniture exhibition in the villa. One of the highlights of the evening was the unique opportunity to visit Aresteas at anchor. Throughout the evening transportation was arranged from the villa to the yacht where guests were welcomed with champagne.
Aresteas was built by Turkish shipyard Yildizlar out of epoxy laminated timber.
Her comfortable interior designed by Italian naval designer Aldo Viani exterior designed by Fuat Turan and has a RINA safety rating.
