On Friday the 8th of June, the Engel & Völkers Yachting team attended an elegant Open House hosted by Engel & Völkers Brescia.
The beautiful Italian city is home to an exquisite property rich in history that was built in the 17th century. Located in the city centre, the event took place throughout the entire property that included talented opera singers, acrobats, and a harpist who played soft music in the background.
Organised by Barbara Quaresmini, Licence Partner of Engel & Völkers Real Estate Brescia and sponsored by Ferrari, Maserati, Banca Generali, among others the evening promised to be full of interesting people and surprises. It absolutely delivered on that promise. Nearly 160 guests attended the exclusive event.
The yachting team had an entire room dedicated to the luxury world where the lifestyle of yachting was displayed through yachts models, and luxury brochures that allowed guests to get a glimpse of all the special destinations available to visit on board a superyacht.
There is a famous Italian quote saying” noi siamo la nostra storia”, visiting Brescia and the prestigious Palace offered us an insight into an important historical period of the Renaissance.
The layout of the property reflects the realities typical of its epoch. The entrance of the palace was projected in the middle of the 17th century, with carriages, horses and sumptuous receptions. Walking through the bright rooms of the palace, the atmosphere is equally impressive as in the rest of the propriety thanks to the antique coffered ceilings and marble fireplaces.
Anyone with sensibility and admiration for the combination of historic elegance will instantly feel at home in this 17th century masterpiece.
