Paris 16th district: an extremely attractive and very residential area ideal for property investment

The 16th district, a large playground for architects of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, is bounded on the east by the Seine, on the west by the Bois de Boulogne and is considered the greenest district in Paris. Very residential, it is also recognised as one of the most elegant and richest districts of Paris. Indeed, the 16th district is the third richest french neighbourhood in terms of household income, after the 7th arrondissement and Neuilly-sur-Seine, both adjacent.

Several museums (Marmottan-Monet, Guimet or Palais de Tokyo museums) and notable places of the district, such as the Trocadero and its gardens, attract tourists from all over the world. It is home to the largest number of Parisian embassies, famous sports facilities such as the Parc des Princes (football), the Roland-Garros stadium (where the French Open tennis is held), racecourses (Auteuil, Longchamp) , as well as many private sports clubs (Polo Club de Bagatelle, Racing Club).

The Paris 16th district is also sought after for its shopping streets such as rue de Passy. This district offers many prestigious schools (such as Janson-de-Sailly or Jean-Baptiste Say) and also several international schools.

Finally, the 16th district is located near the Bois de Boulogne, one of the two green lungs of Paris, with the Bois de Vincennes. The inauguration of the Louis Vuitton Foundation in 2014 gave the district additional international visibility.
