The word «Kanalia» means «channels». It is a district tucked within the wider region of «Agios Ioannis» (Saint John). Kanalia area is a quiet and secure neighbourhood which is located in the south-west part of Mykonos island. It boasts idyllic sunsets and sweeping emerald-blue Aegean Sea views. It is almost adjacent to «Ornos beach» some two kilometres away, a bit further south from the helipad (helicopter landing pad) and almost five kilometres from Mykonos «chora» (the capital town of Mykonos).
