FLOORS - parquet and typical Tuscan “cotto” are the elements in line with the country-chic style, but you can also opt for a dove-grey or dark grey porcelain stoneware, for example.
FABRICS - linen, cotton, jute: choose natural and raw fabrics. Decor your home with curtains, rugs and lots of cushions to have a cozy environment.
FURNITURE - as mentioned, the country-chic style combines tradition and modernity, therefore we need a balanced mix. Add elegant furniture with clean lines, along with vintage pieces, so to have a contemporary touch.
DECOR - look for useful items in grandma's house and be creative! Use old trunks, as well as blackboards, wicker baskets, porcelain, vintage lamps and elegant antique mirrors. One more thing, remember that your new house will need a “warm” light.
