In the famous Riviera del Conero at the weekends your place at the beach must be reserved. This is the decision taken by some municipalities in the Marche region in order to reduce the number of accesses and ensure social distancing in compliance with the anti-Covid measures.
In particular, it concerns the beaches of Mezzavalle, Portonovo, Ramona and Capannina, where reservations must be made via web portal or the iBeach app, launched on June 4, 2020, which has already scored a success, touching a sold out for the first weekend. There are two choices: “telo mare” (beach towel) with a space of 3mx80cm for two people, and “stallo” (beach lounge) for 4 people.
The matter is different for the free beaches of Palombina, Passetto, Collemarino, Torrette, the 24 public beaches of Civitanova Marche and the other seaside resorts of the coast. In these cases, the municipalities take different choices, by allowing the beach resorts to request more space or book the place via phone, managed by the town hall employees who work remotely. However, where reservation will not be necessary, limited places will be established by the Municipality and will be steadily monitored by stewards and city police.
