The villa of the German fashion designer Guido Maria Kretschmer is located in Sa Cabaneta, near Santa Maria, northeast of Palma de Mallorca. The renowned designer has lived on the Balearic island with his husband, Frank Mutters, for the past 22 years. “The finca property on Majorca was our first home. I associate many wonderful memories with this beautiful place and am glad that a new owner will now be able to enjoy the villa,” says Guido Maria Kretschmer. The 54-year-old is relocating his main place of residence from Berlin to Hamburg and in the process is bidding farewell to his beloved residence on Majorca.
The interiors span some 310 square metres in total, and include a spacious living and dining area, a kitchen, five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a studio. In 2019, Guido Maria Kretschmer had the villa renovated in a Provençal style. Complementing the rural yet contemporary spaces, the property also boasts a pool and a roof terrace overlooking the Bay of Palma. The villa enjoys absolute privacy thanks to its setting in approximately 2,360 square metres of park-like grounds, landscaped with Majorcan flora and fauna. Despite the tranquillity of this home, the centre of Palma, the international airport and nearby beaches can all be reached in just a few minutes by car.
