The nicest cup of coffee in Italy? It is served in Padua

Awards  for the best coffee in Padua to the pastry shop Estense and the Coffee shop Cadò.

The contest "How to personalize your coffee" was organized by Fipe in cooperation with the Italian Association of Coffee-Federgrossisti. In first place the Paduan pastry shop Estense located in Via Forcellini, in the fifth place still a paduan shop called Torrefazione Bar Cadò.

Imagination, inspiration, care of service and, above all, attention to small gestures. Because drinking coffee is a real practice, which is renewed every day in the cafés by millions of Italians. In one of these cafés, to be precise in Padua, the best coffee in Italy is served as decreed by the jury. A group of experts carefully considered the many photographs arrived via the web to Fipe, which promoted this competition to enhance the work of those managers and operators that focus on attention to detail and service with ever new manners of giving the drink more loved by Italians.

COFFEE CUSTOMIZED. The competition "How to personalize your coffee" was promoted in synergy with Ica (Italian Coffee Association)-Federgrossisti. "Our choice - explained Marcello Fiore, general director of FIPE and member of the jury of experts which selected the winners - was largely based on those proposals that have highlighted the conviviality and attention to celebrate   "the custom" of coffee, aspects that can be expressed in different ways and with different gestures: with a chocolate, with a sweet accompaniment, with a special cup, with a particular message. In our opinion, the winners have been able, to fully convey all these values".
