Amenities and special features of this villa

Story: The reputation of the Villa, dating back to 1300,appears clear from the outset by the mention made of it in ancient documents. It belonged to a powerful Ghibelline family and subsequently to a wealthy Florentine merchant, a friend of Lorenzo Il Magnifico. The villa has always been a noble house which retains over time its original footprint, it has suffered until 1800 alterations in the plans and volumes. A recent conservation work has brought back to original charm even the garden, dotted with small trees and tall, old roses, aromatic bushes, potted lemon trees and hydrangeas in perfect harmony with vineyards and olive groves of the park.
Description: The main entrance consists of a bay driveway that once led to the church, which still exists, the end of which a wooded patch of oaks and cypresses introduces all' home.
Ground Floor: The wishbone system is built around a courtyard. From a great entrance hall is accessed from both the right and left to a theory of living rooms, bedrooms, bathroom and at the bottom of a kitchen and a dining room with open views, as well as on a private garden. Some rooms have decorations on the walls. The high wooden ceilings, precious and original terracotta remain intact 's country house atmosphere.
I floor: From the entrance hall a stone staircase leads to the first floor. The space is divided into rooms and services, once destined to servitude, it is light and airy thanks to large windows of the hills and ceilings with a trussed roof, typically Tuscan.
Basement: It consists of different farming environments and storage of oil and wine. Of particular interest is the cellar-tavern.
