Riviera del Brenta is an urban area -belonging to the metropolitan city of Venice- that spreads along the banks of the Brenta Canal.
It is the natural, ancient riverbed of the river Brenta: it branches off from the latter to the cities Noventa Padovana and Stra and, flowing from west to east, it flows into the Venice Lagoon.
The river course includes the towns Stra, Fiesso d'Artico, Dolo, Mira, Oriago, and Malcontenta.
Dolo is the centre of the Riviera del Brenta, both from a geographical point of view and for the important and multiple eases and amenities it offers: location, infrastructures, healthcare-medical centre, primary and secondary schools, restaurants, footwear industry centres, etc.
Dolo lays exactly halfway between Padua and Venice. More precisely, it is 15 km far from both of them. In a few minutes, you can be at the entrance of the A4 motorway (Dolo-Mirano) with the possibility of reaching Venice in 10 minutes, Treviso in only 20-25 minutes, Vicenza in 30 min. approx., Cortina in 1h and 30/45 min., and Jesolo Lido (one of the most famous seaside resort in northern Italy) in 45/50 minutes.
