The two farmhouses of remote epoch, located on the hills south-west of the Upper Town of Bergamo, were enlarged in 1500 during the Venetian rule for the cultivation of the vine. They have been recently restored respecting their typology, according to the criteria of bio-architecture, and then built new structures and agricultural appurtenances - stable, garage, cellar.
Color and warm atmospheres of rural simplicity characterize the environments thanks to the use of natural materials where wood and terracotta tiles are the protagonists.
Over the years it has given impetus to the typical and appropriate pre-existing crops: vine, vegetables, fruit, according to the biological method. The redevelopment of the woodland was also encouraged.


Colli: Location and surroundings of this property

The “Parco Regionale dei Colli” includes the historical and monumental area of the Upper Town of Bergamo and the surrounding hills, rich in wooded areas and terraced slopes with meadows and vineyards, to the riverine plains along the Serio and Brembo. Inserted into the natural landscape of the hillside west of Bergamo there are many residential buildings of remarkable architectural and monumental, in addition to the complex of the Astino monastery and the ruins of the Castle of Allegrezza.
Despite the tranquility that the area has to offer Via Colle dei Roccoli is just 10 km from Orio al Serio international airport and just a few minutes from the entrance of the A4 motorway that connects Bergamo to the main cities of Northern Italy.
