Located in the heart of Val Cavallina, on the slopes of the "Colle delle Monache" stands a fascinating monastery built in 1108.
Only 4 kilometers from the Endine lake, it enjoys a panoramic view of the mountains and the surrounding valley.
It consists of a central body with a portico, two wings perpendicular to each other. The loggia overlooks a cloister with a well and features marble columns with capitals and bent leaves.
On the ground floor there are the accesses to the cellar and to the area below the well, rooms where a wellness area could be created and a living area with kitchen and living rooms.
On the first and second floor there is the night area where there are currently 5 bedrooms and bathrooms; this area could be further subdivided.
On the left side of the entrance door there is an area that could be used as a depéndance and a fitness area.
In 2008, the monastery was subject to a very careful structural restructuring, especially as regards coverage.
The uniqueness of this convent, offers the possibility of various uses, including accommodation, thanks to the large park of about 2.5 hectares surrounding it.

Bergamo Provincia: Location and surroundings of this property

Borgo di terzo is located in the Media Val Cavallina and is crossed by the river Cherio.
The name of the village derives from the fact that in this small village originated the noble family from Bergamo called “Terzi”. The area was affected by settlements already in Roman times, as evidenced by some artifacts found in the area. In the historical context, the news that came to us concerned mainly the Middle Ages: in that period the village was completely surrounded by walls and fortifications with a castle that stood out on the valley. And it seems to have also a considerable importance given that it was the emperor Federico Barbarossa in person who razed it to the ground in 1168.
Located a few kilometers from Lake Endine and Lake Iseo, the village is surrounded by greenery and is surrounded by lush hills.
It is only 22 Km from the international airport of Milan - Orio al Serio and only 24 Km from the city of Bergamo and from the entrance of the A4 that leads to the main cities of Northern Italy.
