What you should know about this house

Amenities and special features of this house

Surprising and charming, the property dating back to the 1600s is one of the last testimonies of the ancient feuds, which are also a summer residence and country house of noble families, and which preserves architectural features.
On a garden of one hectare, bordered by ancient walls of almost three meters high, develops a complex of about 2,000 square meters of indoor covered area with a square "Baglio" (closed courtyard patio) in basolato of about 750 sqm.
The main entrance leads to the inner bath and before the manor house. This, on two levels, occupies the entire side of the main prospect while the remaining three sides were destined for service rooms and warehouses.
On the noble floor you come across a stone staircase and here find the ones that were the environments of representation, the salons and the bedrooms. Part of the floors retained the materials of the sixteenth century, others were replaced in the later epochs with cement. It still incorporates the masonry kitchen.
On the roof of the manor house, the terrace crowned by merlons giving identity and recognition to other castles. By virtue of its original function, the terrace is full of mastery of the surrounding area, embracing the unspoilt countryside and coming up to the sea.
The property is completed by more than 22 hectares of land (beyond the garden of 10,000 sq. M.) Which guarantee the feudo further exclusivity and privacy.

Ragusa: Location and surroundings of this property

The feud is located on one of the most beautiful countryside in the Sicilian country, as it is uncontaminated, without urban or industrial interventions, which still maintains the face of the Ragusa countryside: dry walls border wide and green fields, dotted with centuries-old carobs olive trees. Sweet slopes that stretch down to the coast, populated only by other ancient country houses and medieval castles, including the Donnafugata Castle, one of the monuments designated by the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The property is barycentric to all the most interesting destinations: 10 minutes to Ragusa, easily reachable through the provincial artery, with all the facilities and amenities a city offers; just a few minutes drive from the UNESCO centers of Val di Noto, Modica and Scicli.
The lovers of the sea can briefly reach Marina di Ragusa, with its excellent touristic harbor, and the other villages of the coast and here to satisfy the gastronomic delights. For fans or curious, about twenty minutes away, the Donnafugata Golf Resort with its two award-winning 18-hole golf courses, Parkland Course, designed by Gary Player, and Links Course, designed by Franco Piras, with sea views, even though immersed in the countryside .
Strategic point also from the point of view of the road, well connected to Comiso airport, with daily trains with the major Italian and European airports, and Catania International Airport.
