Neive: Location and surroundings of this property

Neive is a town of 3,100 inhabitants in the province of Cuneo, in the Langhe, a recognized area by Unesco as a Universal Heritage for the exceptional Piedmontese landscape of wine and its deep and lively wine culture. Located 7 km from Alba, the world center of truffles, its historic center retains a medieval layout, made up of cobbled streets that rise towards the Clock Tower and elegant terracotta buildings. It has been included in the club of "The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy", created by the Council of Tourism of the Association of Italian Municipalities.
From the top of the village, you can see the surrounding hills planted with vines: it is an area of production of great D.O.C and D.O.C.G.
Neive is also a destination for its wineries, often housed in stately homes, such as the eighteenth-century Palazzo dei Conti di Castelborgo.
There are four types of wines that are produced on these hills:
Barbera d'Alba; Dolcetto d'Alba; Barbaresco; Moscato.
The municipality of Neive was included in the Romantic Road in the Langhe and Roero area. It is a journey, physical and emotional, between past and present, between landscapes and literary suggestions. The route starts from Vezza d’Alba and continues through the municipalities of Magliano Alfieri, Neive, Treiso, Trezzo Tinella, Benevello, Sinio, Cissone, Murazzano, Mombarcaro and Camerana.
