Domaso: Location and surroundings of this property

Domaso stands at the mouth of the Livio stream, in the area of the upper Western Lario. The municipality consists of an ancient village on the lakeshore and two hamlets Pozzuolo and Gaggio.
In the ancient wine cellars of Domaso, the rare Domasino wine is still produced. The vineyards are in Pozzuolo and Gaggio. It is a white wine, already appreciated in Roman times, whose production does not exceed two thousand bottles. In only a few minutes, you can get to any events or service in the municipality of Domaso, such as ice cream parlors, bars, restaurants, banks, hairdressers, pharmacies, perfumery, food shops, ferry boat landing playground, tennis court, and football field.
Domaso is in one of the most characteristic areas of the Lariano basin, near the wildlife oasis of "Pian di Spagna and Lago di Mezzola" which is one of the largest and most important natural reserves in northern Italy. The nature reserve offers educational-recreational paths of great interest and beauty where you can admire a fantastic variety of animals and plants. Domaso enjoys a notably mild climate, constantly ventilated by the Breva. Due to this characteristic, it is considered one of the privileged places for water sports, both sailing, and windsurfing. Even paragliding and mountain biking enthusiasts find Domaso to be their ideal destination.
A few minutes by car from the center of Domaso, you will find the fascinating paths of the Alta Via del Lario on Mount Berlinghera along which, among mountain huts and woods of Scots pine, it is possible to admire one of the most beautiful views of the Larian. Commission Details

The property brokerage engagement with “Finest Italian Estates S.r.l.” (an affiliate of Engel & Völkers Italia S.r.l.) and/or use of the services listed in our brochure or the property for sale on our property cards are governed by a specific agreement and pertinent clauses. The consideration (commission) payable by the Buyer/Landlord for our services, plus VAT at the legal rate, is 5% of the sale price of a property or 15% of a yearly rent.
