Castelletto: Location and surroundings of this property

The property is located in Castelletto sopra Ticino, in the upper-eastern Novara valley. The town is surrounded by Lake Maggiore, by river Ticino and by a morainic amphitheatre and, therefore, boasts of breathtaking natural landscapes. It is in fact part of the Natural Park of Ticino Valley.
The origins of the city date back to the so-called Cultura di Golasecca, a thriving pre-Roman civilization, of which there are evidences in some findings, which are currently located in the museums and archaeological areas of the surrounding area; later, other protagonists have followed one another in these places, that is the reason why the historical and cultural stratification is clearly visible when we observe Castelletto.
In close proximity, at about 3 km, you find Lake Maggiore, with its many priceless areas: natural parks, natural reserves, castles, museums, gardens and islands.
As regard to the services, Castelletto lays in an excellent position: it is just a few kilometres from Novara and even less from Varese and Malpensa airport.
