We are located in the municipality of the renowned town of Noventa Padovana, with a position towards the town of Noventana.
Located eight kilometres east of the centre of Padua, Noventa Padovana represents a belt between the nearby city and the Brenta Riviera and is the second wealthiest municipality in the province after the capital. Geographical position, sharing of historical events and, above all, the presence of a group of notable Venetian villas make Noventa the last town on the Riviera, at the end of the evocative itinerary that from the Venice Lagoon reaches Padua. From the sixteenth to the eighteenth century, Noventa was the "must" of classy holidays: a location where the patricians of the Serenissima used to arrive at the end of summer, thanks to a small cruise insured by the Burchiello, along the suggestive Brenta Riviera. Just look at the number of villas and residences they had built, many of which are still in excellent condition, to realize how this place represented one of the most sought-after tourist centres of the high society of that time. The most imposing building, which alone speaks of the splendour of the time, is Villa Giovanelli, commissioned in the seventeenth century by the family of the same name. There are several other noteworthy complexes scattered throughout the territory: such as the villas Grimani, Vendramin, Pisani, Morosini, Loredan, and Nani, all surnames which alone are sufficient to indicate how the "elite" of the Serenissima had chosen Noventa as their place for the ideal holiday. Noventa is still very popular: it combines the historic charm that distinguishes it with the comfort required by modern living and offers its citizens the ease and amenities necessary to guarantee a good quality of life away from the chaos of the city.
