The building was born as a mill for the refining of graminaceous plants, of which several original stone parts remain, in the early nineteenth century it was transformed into the hunting estate of the Counts Sparagana to become officially a residential property in 1849.
At the entrance of the property, a double wrought iron gate invites to the long tree-lined avenue that little by little reveals first the columns on the ground floor and then the whole monumental structure to end in a circular space with a large decorated fountain in the center, a space at that time so organized for the arrival of owners and guests by carriage. At the entrance, a classical pronaos with six columns frames the imposing main door in oak wood, after which you are immediately projected in time by a high and wide atrium decorated with solid wood ceilings and hunting trophies on the walls. Adjacent to the entrance hall, a staggered floor with double vaulted archway leads to the stairs in natural stone with lines softened by the centenary use. Arrived on the first floor, a large and sumptuous hallway, mirroring the atrium below and also with solid wood floors, leads first to 2 small rooms and then to 2 large rooms, the latter with access to the balcony overlooking the colonnaded porch and the large and lush terrace. Behind the access to the staircase there are 2 more bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with tub. To the side of the stairwell, branches off access to the attic divided into 5 large storage rooms.
A frame enchanted property, the garden, characterized by stone remains of the old mill and small flower beds arranged to form a geometric design, all topped by a well with a stone arch of fabulous workmanship. The property includes a fenced tennis court in red clay.
