Amenities and special features of this apartment

The property in question, for commercial-executive use and overlooking the Riviera del Brenta, is placed in a beautiful hamlet consisting in residential and commercial units, finely designed, refurbished and updated; it is located in the charming town of Dolo (VE), the main village of the famous and historic "Riviera del Brenta". And it is just in a glimpse of this historic river Brenta, also called "Naviglio", that this residential farmhouse overlooks. It's a small estate with a unique and matchless location.
The river Brenta recounts history, art, culture, fashion.
The canal "Naviglio" played an important role as a communication route between the lagoon of Venice and Padua. It is a particular area with historic and scenic value for the presence of many Venetian villas, built between the sixteenth and the eighteenth century by the Venetian patrician families, showing the aristocratic power of that period. At that time the Riviera was accessible only by moving by boat, while the existing roads were built later. The Venetian nobles were transported on the river by a boat called Burchiello, that was pulled from the banks by men, oxen or horses, while the goods were transported by boats called "Burci". Still nowadays the cruise along the Riviera del Brenta is a tourist attraction offering the beautiful view on ancient villas with lovely gardens, that can be visited too, special events, weddings and conferences.
This area enjoys and offers hotels located in the noble mansions, restaurants, inns and taverns where you can enjoy the traditional cuisine; cruises that will take you from Padua to Venice or naturalistic trails to ride by bikes; guided visits to production plants, shops and outlets of the most beautiful shoes in the world!

Zone Limitrofe: Location and surroundings of this property

Riviera del Brenta is an urban area of the metropolitan Venice that spreads along the banks of the Brenta Canal. It is the natural ancient riverbed of the river Brenta: it branches off from the latter to the cities of Noventa Padovana and Stra and, flowing from west to east, it flows into the lagoon of Venice. The river’s course includes the towns of Stra, Fiesso d'Artico, Dolo, Mira, Oriago and Malcontenta. Dolo is the center of the Riviera del Brenta, both from a geographical point of view and for the important and multiple services it offers: location, infrastructures, healthcare-medical centre, primary and secondary schools, restaurants, footwear industry centres, etc. Dolo is located exactly halfway between Padua and Venice, more precisely it is 15 km far from both of them. In a few minutes you can reach the entrance of the A4 motorway (Dolo-Mirano) with the possibility to reach Venice in 10 minutes, Treviso in only 20-25 minutes, Vicenza in 30 min. approx., Cortina in 1h and 30/45 min. and Jesolo Lido (one of the most famous seaside resort in northern Italy) in 45/50 minutes.
