Briosco: Location and surroundings of this property

Briosco is a municipality in the Province of Monza and Brianza in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 30 kilometres north of Milan, and close to Monza and Lecco.
The town lies on the green hills of Brianza and boasts a rural centre featuring remarkable historic buildings; the most famous and exclusive Golf Clubs of the region are a stone’s throw.
The original core of the town dates back to the 18th Century, allegedly owing to a longobard nucleus, and owes its shape to the gathering of some rural courts around a fortified centre protecting the Lambro Valley. In the centuries the region met with a fair growth thanks to the agricultural activities and the settlement of some noble families that built their residences.
The territory is hilly and has its highest elevation on the hill of Capriano.
