What you should know about this villa

Amenities and special features of this villa

There are properties that stop time and emotions becoming the historical heritage of the area in which they are located: one of these is certainly the Colonial-style villa with a rustic façade in local stone that we present to you. Located in the center of Marina di Camerota, facing the sea and the marvelous Cilento coast, it was initially built in the 19th century as a fisherman's hut and in the early 1900s purchased by the ancestors of the current owners who at the time moved to Cilento to invest in olive oil production. The house has a square section of 18 by 12.30 meters and rises on 3 floors. Crossing a path set in a garden of about 200 square meters with a solarium terrace, you enter the ground floor through a suggestive double staircase that opens onto a terrace and leads to a large living room. From here unique communicating doors lead to a series of rooms including a study, a dining room, a kitchen, a woodshed, a second bedroom and a bathroom, all on an area of 221 square meters. From the back of the kitchen there is a secondary entrance which was the one used by the servants. The stone and wrought iron staircase leads to the first floor consisting of a living room atrium, 5 bedrooms, a bathroom and a terrace dominated by a colorful bougainvillea that dresses the house in the summer months. The top floor consists of another living room and two attics of about 60 square meters each. The villa culminates in a solarium terrace of about 25 square meters where you can admire a truly unique panorama of the most suggestive and authentic Cilento. The property has a high commercial value due to its location and whoever buys it could build an important structure in a seaside village, one of the most original and characteristic of southern Italy.

Further Properties: Location and surroundings of this property

Marina di Camerota is one of the beaches in the town of
Camerota, it is part of the large Cilento, Vallo Di Diano and
Alburni National Park, UNESCO heritage, the second largest
park in Italy with an extraordinary naturalistic richness of the
territory which goes hand in hand with the mythical and
mysterious character of a land rich in history and culture;
pristine beaches, wild, rich in Mediterranean vegetation,
often dotted with caves and trekking paths. The name
Camerota might come from the Greek word Kamaratòn, that
is a building with the shape of an arch which recalls the many
natural caves found in this area; a legend also has it that his
name comes from Kamaraton, the nymph who fell in love
with Palinurus.
There are numerous remains of ancient Palaces or of the
Saracen Towers, Camerota itself is the town with the most
history which has preserved its appearance as a medieval
village from which you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic
view.
The undisputed strength of Marina Camerota are the beaches,
with their sandy coastline, transparent water and the many
services offered by the various beach resorts are among the
most suitable for those who want to combine relax and fun.
Marina di Camerota is about 5 kilometers from the town of
Camerota. The stop, arriving by train from Naples or Salerno,
is Centola or Pisciotta-Palinuro, and then continue by taxi or
local bus to Marina di Camerota. The closest airport is the
one in Naples. During the summer season there are also boats
departing from Salerno (molo Manfredi). If arriving by car,
the A3 (Napoli-Salerno-Reggio Calabria).
