Zone Limitrofe: Location and surroundings of this plot

The town of Teolo boasts origins dating back to the Paleolithic, as evidenced by the artifacts found in Castelnuovo and on the Mount of the Virgin Mary. Tradition wants Teolo to be the birthplace of Tito Livio, although there is no reliable proof about it. Instead, it is probable the Roman origin of the place name, from "titulus" (border), referring to the position between the territories of Padua and Este. The history of Teolo continues in the Middle Ages when the strategic interest of the locality was confirmed and the bishops of Padua erected the castle of Speronella, on the summit of the mount Rocca Pendice; it counterposed the castle of Castelnuovo, a short distance away. At the beginning of the fifteenth century, with the arrival of the Republic of Venice, Teolo began an era of political stability, which brought some economic prosperity. No wonder that during this period some families of the Venetian aristocrats, attracted by the natural resources and the beauty of the place, began to build here their own villas. Since 1989 most of the town territory has been under the protection of the Euganean Hills Regional Park. It is a land not wild, but cultural and strongly anthropic, where the presence of man and agriculture is a fundamental element, and still today it is characterized by the vineyards and their terracings in stone. Nowadays also the touristic activity is developed in this territory, and it is based not only on the spa's appeal but also on its naturalistic features, which can be enjoyed thanks to numerous bikes and walking.

Commission Details

The appointment for the sale with our real estate agency and our real estate agents is formalized with a written agreement or, without any document, with the utilization of the services shown in our service brochure, in our real estate expose and relevant conditions.
