The Low Monferrato is the final fringe of the province of Asti on the borders with the province of Turin. Situated only 28 km from Turin and 40km from Asti, Castelnuovo Don Bosco is a little town of 3000 inhabitants. This was the birthplace of San Giovanni Bosco, San Giuseppe Cafasso and San Giuseppe Allamano, and it is therefore called the “land of saints and wines”. The property is located in Frazione Mondonio, a medieval village where only 150 people live at the moment and it is characterized by narrow streets and the “Castello dei Rivalba” built in the 12th century and easy to reach with a short walk from the property.
