The villa was built on a slope in the sixties and was extensively renovated about ten years ago. It is nestled into a well-kept garden with several terraces, secluded areas and paths that lead to an exclusive beach and ship dock. The villa has high-quality equipment, light-flooded rooms and a fantastic 180-degree view of Lake Como from all rooms and terraces. The large window fronts and the beautiful parquet and Mediterranean tiled floors create a very special ambience.

Argegno: Location and surroundings of this property

Argegno is one of the most visited towns on Lake Como. It lies on the western shore, halfway between Como and Menaggio. From here, a road leads through the Intelvi Valley, which connects Lake Como with Lake Lugano.
One of Argegno's main attractions is its small harbour, from which you can take a ferry to any of the other picturesque spots on the lake at any time of the year. The town's exclusive restaurants provide culinary delights.
The provincial capital Como is a 30-minute drive away. Milan, with its international airports Malpensa and Linate, can be reached in an hour, and the city of Lugano in Switzerland with its regional airport in 50 minutes.
Whether you're a water-skier or a scuba diver, the lake offers water sports enthusiasts a myriad of activities. The countryside is ideal for taking long walks, going hiking, trekking, cycling and mountain biking.
If you love skiing and snowboarding, you're in luck: The famous winter sports resorts St. Moritz (CH), Madesimo, Bormio and Livigno (Ital.) are only 2.5–3 hours away by car.

Commission Details

The property brokerage engagement with “Finest Italian Estates S.r.l.” (an affiliate of Engel & Völkers Italia S.r.l.) and/or use of the services listed in our brochure or the property for sale on our property cards are governed by a specific agreement and pertinent clauses. The consideration (commission) payable by the Buyer/Landlord for our services, plus VAT at the legal rate, is 5% of the sale price of a property or 15% of a yearly rent.
