Situated only 28 km from Turin and 40 km from Asti, Castelnuovo Don Bosco is a pretty village of approximately 3,000 inhabitants. It is easy reachable in just 45 minutes from the Turin-Caselle airport and in an hour and a half from the Milan-Malpensa airport. It is also called “Land of Saints and Wines” because it was the birthplace of San Giovanni Bosco, San Giuseppe Cafasso, and San Giuseppe Allamano, and because many DOC wines like Malvasia and Freisa are produced here. The village is surrounded by several rural hamlets of particular interest. One of them is Nevissano where our property is located. Castelnuovo Don Bosco has many quite famous tourist attractions, like the Temple of Don Bosco and the known Abbazia di Santa Maria of Vezzolano. The first one rises on the homonymous hill that hosts the house where San Giovanni Bosco lived, whereas the second one is one of the most important medieval religious monuments in Piedmont, and every year receives thousands of visitors from all over Europe.
