What you should know about this apartment

Amenities and special features of this apartment

This remarkable townhouse is located in the immediate vicinity of the town square, which is crowned by the Sterzing landmark, the Tower of the Twelve. Several listed elements make the 4-storey house a unique historic property. From the garden side, a staircase leads to the 1st floor, the entrance to the flat. This currently extends over 3 floors, with a project already underway to convert each level to a flat, creating 3 independent units. A gothic listed ceiling and typical farmhouse stove form the heart of the property. The attic, which can still be converted, is predestined to create a cosy loft. In the relatively large garden, which extends to Innsbrucker Strasse, one enjoys unexpected privacy away from the pulsating city street of this attractive little town. Innsbrucker Strasse is drivable, two covered parking spaces are located in front of the house, and thus the search for a parking space in the city centre is unnecessary. The strategic position, close to the motorway (67 km to Bolzano, 50 km to Innsbruck, 164 km Torbole/Lake Garda), to several skiing and hiking areas such as Monte Cavallo, Ridanna, Ladurns (Val di Fleres), Passo Giovo increases the attractiveness. The property is ideal to realise your dreams. With creative ideas and business acumen, you are sure to succeed in recognising the potential and creating a true jewel.

Sterzing: Location and surroundings of this property

Vipiteno with its about 6800 inhabitants is not only the northernmost city of Italy, but also one of the most beautiful towns. It combines medieval atmosphere with modern charm and is characterised by a central european mountain climate. Vipiteno was founded in prehistoric times in 14 B.C. under the Roman commander Druso as a Roman settlement and has always been a very active trading town - especially because of its strategic location between the alpine passes of the Jaufen Pass, the Brenner Pass and the Penserjoch. Vipiteno was also an important mining centre, which brought the city great wealth. Especially in the 500-year-old "Neustadt" you can admire magnificent houses with bay windows, stepped gables, artistic signs and pergolas. The attractive old town centre consists essentially of a single central street. Where once transit traffic passed through the Brenner Pass and the Roman and German emperors crossed the Brenner Pass to Rome for coronation, today small shops, renowned boutiques, cosy cafés and well-assorted wine bars line up next to each other and invite you to stroll and have fun. But Vipiteno also has a lot to offer outside the historic centre. Sports lovers are attracted by the Cavallo mountain, which is only a few minutes' walk from the centre and offers a variety of ski slopes. For all those who want to get to the top, the valle Ridanna offers spectacular summit climbs to breathtaking glacier tours. Those interested in culture and art will be delighted by gothic churches and medieval castles. Let yourself be persuaded by this enchanting town!
