This last is a 14-century square-based defence tower consisting of corbels and machicolations, made of sack masonry with external facing and brick interiors. The villa of about 2,600 square meters is surrounded by a secular park of about 4 hectares and located in an elevated position with a view that sweeps from the sea to the Marche hills. It is also served by a double driveway, on the east and west side, but some renovation works are necessary to bring the property back to its original splendour.

Porto d'Ascoli is a renowned seaside resort, once belonging to the State of the Church in the province of Marca Fermana; its territory reached the Tronto, a centuries-old border with the Kingdom of Naples, later the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. In fact, in 1847 the last boundary stone indicating the border between the papal states and the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies was placed near the ancient pontoon bridge at the mouth of the Tronto river. Porto d'Ascoli is well connected to the main roads and communication infrastructures, such as the A14 exit which is about 1.5 km away, the Ancona/Falconara “Raffaello Sanzio” airport approx. 80 km far, that of Pescara 60 km far and the railway station of Porto d'Ascoli, about 500 m far.
