Nesso: Location and surroundings of this property

Nesso is a small town of 1300 inhabitants on the eastern shores of Lake Como about an hour's drive from Milan and 20 minutes from Como.
The picturesque town of Nesso is located directly across the lake from Laglio and Brienno and offers a beach and a charming lakeside promenade. The surrounding mountains offer numerous sports activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, visits to caves and paragliding, as well as cross-country skiing, in the winter months.
In a few minutes by car you can reach Pian del Tivano, where there are various sports and entertainment options.
The charming village is known for its spectacular waterfalls, known as "orridi", a romantic bridge and the ruins of the medieval castle.
The lake attracts water sports enthusiasts with a variety of different options. The Lake Como ferry boat company offers year-round ferry service to other picturesque places around the lake.
The nearby city of Como can be easily reached both by bus and by boat in about half an hour.
Furthermore, the splendid Bellagio, called the "Pearl of Lake Como" is only 15 km away.
The Lombard metropolis of Milan, with its international airports Malpensa and Linate, can be reached by car in about 1.2 hours (68 km), the Swiss city of Lugano with its regional airport in about an hour (49 km).
The ski resorts of St. Moritz (CH), Madesimo, Bormio and Livigno (Ital.) are around 2.5 - 3.5 hours away by car.

Commission Details

The property brokerage engagement with “Finest Italian Estates S.r.l.” (an affiliate of Engel & Völkers Italia S.r.l.) and/or use of the services listed in our brochure or the property for sale on our property cards are governed by a specific agreement and pertinent clauses.
