Griante: Location and surroundings of this property

The ancient village of Griante, the last stop on the Lake Como Greenway, offers unparalleled picturesque views over the Bellagio promontory and the massive peaks of the Grigna, a coveted place, and a historic international tourist destination that over the centuries has hosted numerous illustrious personalities. The village has a mild and sunny climate and is characteristic of its narrow alleys, squares, magnificent historic houses, and lush Mediterranean parks. Every season is perfect for visiting Griante. The summer is more suitable for young and dynamic tourists because there are numerous village festivals, concerts, and water sports, while the off-season offers the opportunity to experience the true essence of Lake Como by enjoying the unspoiled nature in silence. Griante offers a variety of different types of excursions because of its centrally located position on the lake. Villa La Collina in Griante is the seat of the Konrad Adenauer Academy, part of the Foundation named after it. From Griante, by boat, you can reach the other side of the lake and visit Bellagio and Varenna. Commission Details

The property brokerage engagement with “Finest Italian Estates S.r.l.” (an affiliate of Engel & Völkers Italia S.r.l.) and/or use of the services listed in our brochure or the property for sale on our property cards are governed by a specific agreement and pertinent clauses. The consideration (commission) payable by the Buyer/Landlord for our services, plus VAT at the legal rate, is 5% of the sale price of a property or 15% of a yearly rent.
