The main objective of the current owners, when they bought this property, was to preserve the original features as much as possible. Today, thanks to a skillful renovation, it is possible to enjoy the current comforts, but also to admire the historical peculiarities that the property has preserved over time. The dwelling, located at the highest point of the town, has a horseshoe shape that includes the main residence, the area reserved for guests and the former agricultural part.

Solonghello: Location and surroundings of this property
The property is located at the highest point of Solonghello, on the first hills of Monferrato. The town, which is surrounded by vineyards, is just an hour’s drive from Milan, Turin and Genoa and dates back to the first decades of the year 1000. Of particular interest is the Castle of the XXII century and the Stagno Delle Libellule. In fact, the Libellula association is located in the center of Solonghello, which protects various species of dragonflies in the Val Cerrina. Equipped with all essential services, Solonghello is the ideal place to experience holiday periods or to stay permanently. A few kilometers from the towns of Moncalvo and Casale Monferrato, it borders with Serralunga di Crea, famous for its Sanctuary, already a UNESCO heritage site. Like all Monferrato, this area is the destination of many Italian and foreign tourists who want to visit these gentle hills attracted by its natural beauties (enchanting paths among the vineyards with breathtaking views), and by the many restaurants and farmhouses where you can taste typical dishes and drink good wine.
