The island counts around 400 emerged and submerged sea caves and the most famous ones are: the Camel Cave, the Thunder Cave, the Nativity Cave, the Perciata Cave and the Bombard Cave. From an archaeological and cultural perspective, you can visit the castle at the top of the promontory of Punta Troia, the “Roman Houses” and the Byzantine little church. Moreover, a small white-walls town is located at the centre of the island and has two landing places: the New seaport, where both ship and hydrofoils dock, and the Old seaport, which is a characteristic fishermen small port.
