Tremezzo: Location and surroundings of this property

The ancient village of Tremezzo is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, a historic international tourist destination. Nestled between Lake Como and Mount Crocione, the town has a mild climate and is characteristic for its alleys, its squares, and the famous festivals that delight the inhabitants throughout the summer season. The town of Tremezzo is home to one of the most famous villas on Lake Como, Villa Carlotta, which attracts thousands of tourists every year with its botanical garden and azaleas. There is no lack of entertainment in the area, from classical music concerts at Villa Carlotta and Villa Vigoni to the famous jazz festival at Mayer park. The classic aperitifs and brunches can be enjoyed in the bar of Mayer Park or the typical cafes under the arcades on the lake. Nearby is Villa La Collina, the seat of the German Konrad Adenauer Foundation. By ferry boat, you can reach the other side of the lake from Tremezzo and spend some leisurely time in Bellagio and Varenna. Tremezzo is about 30 km from Como, 30 km from Lugano, and in about an hour, you can ski on the slopes of the fantastic St. Moritz.

Commission Details

The property brokerage engagement with “Finest Italian Estates S.r.l.” (an affiliate of Engel & Völkers Italia S.r.l.) and/or use of the services listed in our brochure or the property for sale on our property cards are governed by a specific agreement and pertinent clauses.
