It is the second largest village in Val Gardena and is adjacent to the Puez-Odle Nature Park; it is also the perfect destination for those seeking peace and quiet. The village offers a centre with high-quality shops and restaurants. Piazza Nives, is located 750 meters away, while all essential services are within a radius of 500 meters at most. In the winter season the access to the ski slopes is literally outside your door: the arrival of the Ciampinoi slope and the footbridge to Dantercepies are just a few dozen metres away. The departure station of the Ciampinoi cable car, which is also open in summer, is only 250 metres away; therefore all summer excursions, both on foot and by mountain bike, are really close at hand. The other villages in Val Gardena are only a few kilometres away (S. Cristina at 3.5 km and Ortisei at 8 km).
