Hidden in the hills of Macerata, but close to the city, the 19th century building (in which, according to legend, the patron saint of the city of Macerata San Giuliano, atoned for his sins as a ferryman and a hospitable man, between the banks of the river Potenza, which flows downstream from the city) after the original restoration in 1887 in the "Swiss style", entrusted to the Macerata engineer Pietro Collina and characterized by a strong roof slope with crenellated wooden edgings, was conservatively restored in 2015 by the property, creating common areas as well as several suites, each consisting of living kitchen, sleeping area and associated services, equipped with every comfort and distributed over the three floors of the building.
The very interesting original residential complex also includes a frescoed chapel dedicated to the "Madonna Loreto" and a neo-Gothic crenellated lookout tower, both in exposed masonry, as well as a beautiful park of about 11,000 square meters, laid out with paths through the greenery, rich in centuries-old trees, hedges of Mediterranean shrubs that testify to the additional vocation as a stepping stone to the nearby Adriatic coast, which is just a stone's throw away.
The recent renovation, on the other hand, has further enhanced the property with a large swimming pool with hydro-massage bathtub and other masonry additions, the Wellness area, as well as an elegant panoramic table overlooking the hills of the hinterland of Macerata, which can be used for holding events.
