Brunate: Location and surroundings of this property

This beautiful villa is located in the hills of Brunate above Como.
Brunate is connected to Como by a funicular and you can reach the lake in just seven minutes. The villa is only a 5-minute walk from the funicular.
Brunate has shops, restaurants and cafés, and thanks to its unique location is also called the Balcony on the Alps.
From the village you can see the city of Como and the lake, up to the Padana plain and on clear days you can see the Apennines.
Brunate is ideal for lovers of walking, hiking and mountain biking. The navigation company offers a year-round ferry service therefore making it easy to access the towns along the lake.
The city of Como is around 20 minutes away by car (about 8 km). The city of Milan with its international airports of Malpensa and Linate can be reached in about an hour (about 56km) and the Swiss city of Lugano and the regional airport in about an hour (about 40 km).
For winter sports enthusiasts, Brunate is close to the ski resorts of St. Moritz (CH), Bormio and Livigno Madesimo (Ital.), with a distance of about 2.5 to 3.5 hours of car.

Commission Details

The property brokerage engagement with “Finest Italian Estates S.r.l.” (an affiliate of Engel & Völkers Italia S.r.l.) and/or use of the services listed in our brochure or the property for sale on our property cards are governed by a specific agreement and pertinent clauses.
