It has been rebuilt using original materials, as large chestnut beams, reclaimed terracotta and solid oak flooring with marble detailing. The property consists of a main house and an annex. The main house develops on 3 floors: from the main entrance we enter the living area that boasts a stone and wood fireplace with arches leading to the dining room, drawing room, staircase and cloakroom. Up a few steps through a deep wall, we find the charming farmhouse type kitchen, which leads to the outside dining area, where it is possible to enjoy the stunning view while sitting at the stone table under a pergola. Originally built during the XIV Century on a granitic stone, the property has an unspoiled Tuscan view. It is on the top of the hill, overlooking the vineyard and the gardens. It is reachable by a 3 km white road and it has 3 separate entrances. Visitor’s access to the property is granted by two gates, one leading to the main entrance through the park and the second one reaches the property parking, located near the cantina. The beautiful 8 hectares park has been designed by English gardeners and ensures great privacy to the whole property. The heated swimming pool and the sunbathing area are surrounded by typical Mediterranean plants, English roses, bushes and Olive trees. The vegetable garden, next to the kitchen, overlooks the small vineyard, which is currently used to produce the SuperTuscan wine for the owner’s personal use. The tiny village of Monteguidi is about 4 km away and Casole d'Elsa is 10 km away. Siena is 45 km and Florence airport about 1h driving. The current owner would also like to include in the negotiation the staff apartment and the property’s garage, both located in Monteguidi, a ten minutes’ drive away from the main house.
