Brusaporto is an Italian town of 5,393 inhabitants in the province of Bergamo. It lies on the last hills of the “Val Cavallina” and enjoys a privileged and green position just one step from Bergamo, yet far from chaos and traffic.
It is approximately 11.5 kilometers from the city and 10 km from the international airport of Milan-Orio al Serio.
It is a village whose origins date back to the Middle Ages and there are several prominent monuments. The most attractive is undoubtedly the medieval castle of which only retain the walls and the ruins of the main building. Another building worth mentioning is” Villa Belvedere”, also of medieval origin, which has a characteristic tower.
As part of the sacred buildings, it deserves mention “Santa Margherita” church, of the eighteenth century and the church, in Romanesque style, dedicated to San Martino, dating back to the fourteenth century, which has frescoes of considerable importance.
