St. Ulrich in Gröden: Location and surroundings of this property

Ortisei is the most important town in Val Gardena, harmoniously combining the liveliness of holidaymakers and the traditions of the locals. It is renowned for its tradition of wood carvings and the beautiful pedestrian area with its many shops and cosy clubs. It is considered the ideal destination both for lovers of hiking in summer, who can admire the beautiful surrounding landscape, with meadows exterminated and cared for with love, and for skiers in winter, thanks to the many ski slopes of the Val Gardena and the connections with the Dolomiti Superski and Sellaronda, all surrounded by the magnificence of the Dolomites, unquestionably the most beautiful mountains in the world and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The center of the village is just under 1 km from the apartment and is easily accessible on foot, walking through the typical streets, ideal for walking and shopping. During the winter there is a skibus service that, from the immediate vicinity of the building, leads directly to the ski slopes. The property is easily accessible by car, via the A22 motorway with the Chiusa exit, it takes about 15 km to reach Ortisei. It is also possible to arrive by plane thanks to the nearest airports of Verona (190 km), Bergamo (270 km), Milan Malpensa (350 km), Innsbruck (120 km) and Munich (350 km), as well as the Bolzano airport (40 km) for charter flights.
