Nido del Pellegrino is located in Favignana, one of the most beautiful islands in Europe. It faces the Marine Protected Area “Isole Egadi”, the largest of the Mediterranean Sea.
The archipelago of Egadi is situated 15 miles from the western coast of Sicily. It consists of three main islands, Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo. And two islets, Maraone e Formica. Favignana is the most famous and visited. Famous for the traditional tuna fishing, it is characterized by its wonderful beaches with emerald water, white houses with blue doors, rocky coasts, abandoned quarries and hidden caves.
The port of Favignana is connected daily to the port of Trapani and Marsala.
Trapani is connected daily with the airports of Trapani (16 km) and Palermo (76 km).
Nido del Pellegrino is situated on a promontory, in Contrada Grosso. It faces the sea, in front of the Preveto islet and it is 3 km from the harbour of the Favignana by road to Punta Sottile. It is located in the most panoramic area of the island, from where you can appreciate the most suggestive sunsets with, in the distance, the profile of the island of Marettimo.
The wild resort covers almost seven hectares of this beautiful island, between native vegetation and mediterranea scrub. Being under Mount St. Caterina (312 mt. asl), it is the reign of peregrine falcon, which lives here with seagulls and others bird specials.
At a very short distance there are several small beaches and inlets, all very suggestive and little frequented.
