This ancient farmhouse is located on the slope of a gentle hill in the heart of the Val d'Orcia (a UNESCO heritage site) 3km from San Quirico and 3km from Bagno Vignoni, 14km from Pienza, 16km from Montalcino, and a very short stretch of white road connects it to the Cassia. It consists of two buildings: the main farmhouse and an outbuilding. The whole complex has undergone a recent and careful renovation and for a short period, agritourist activity was carried out thanks to the 16 hectares of land (olive groves and arable land) that complete the property. On the first floor of the main building, there are two apartments with independent entrances, consisting of a living area with kitchenette, living room, two bedrooms and one bathroom. On the ground floor, in what used to be the old stables, they built a large rustic kitchen and a bathroom. Also on the ground floor there is a perfectly restored garage directly connected to the rustic kitchen. In the numerous storage rooms, finishes and systems are still to be made. A part of these rooms develops around a suggestive brick-paved courtyard. The second building, with only one floor, is a real guest apartment composed of a living area with kitchenette, two bedrooms and one bathroom. All the rooms have been carefully restored with the use of traditional materials such as wooden floors, handmade terracotta floors and underfloor heating, respecting the charm of Tuscan country houses. From the windows of the apartments, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the nearby Pienza. In the garden that surrounds the buildings, there is a comfortable pergola shaded by a wisteria for sheltering cars. A row of cypress trees shields the upstream side. On the left side, a small lake guarantees the supply of water for irrigation, while downstream is located the olive grove.
