Ventimiglia, an important touristic, commercial and cultural crossroads is particularly lively in every period of the year and is home to the second Medieval hamlet in Liguria in terms of size and historical and artistic importance.
Art, culture and natural beauty go hand in hand: the Romanesque Cathedral, the archaeological area, the famous Hanbury gardens, pebbled and sandy beaches, alternating with jagged rock formations, make of this piece of sunny Ligurian Sea coast a unique and fascinating place.
For skiing enthusiasts, in less than an hour it is possible to reach the ski resort of Limone Piemonte, with a pleasant drive via the Tenda Valle. In just 50 km one can reach Nice and its international airport from which it is possible to reach, in a short amount of time all European capitals, and from its Port one can board a ship for a cruise to nearby Corsica. Around 10 km away the longest cycling path directly overlooking the sea in Europe. The wonderful Ligurian towns of Bordighera, Ospedaletti and Sanremo are all just a few km away, with elegant shops, restaurants, golf courses, horse-riding centres and the famous Casino.
