The municipality is nothing but a collection of no less than nine hamlets, the largest of which is the hamlet of Chiesa where the town hall and, indeed, the parish church are located. The other small hamlets are: Franzi, San Michele, Vallunga, Tremellini, Gafforelli, Oliva,San Giuseppe, and Dosso Dell'Era.
The municipality is part of the Mountain Community of the Bergamasque Lakes.
